Wednesday's warning from Caltrans affects projects across the Bay Area including the 101 rehab in San Rafael, the Doyle Drive retrofit in San Francisco, the drilling of the fourth bore of the Caldecott Tunnel, and the Devil's Slide tunnel project along Highway 1 in San Mateo County.
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has said he is confident that a budget deal can been hammered out in the next few weeks.
