Power has been restored after a balloon caught in electrical wires apparently caused an outage that affected more than 2,000 customers near AT&T Park in San Francisco this morning, a PG&E spokesman said.

The outage was reported at about 10:30 a.m. and affected 2,082 PG&E customers. Power was restored to all customers at 11:10 a.m., spokesman Matt Nauman said.

A Mylar balloon caught in electrical wires around Fourth and Townsend streets likely caused the outage, Nauman said.
