The FasTrak transponders issued by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission before 2002 has an old phone number printed on it. That number has since been taken over by a 99 cent a minute hot talk line.
Transponders issued after 2002 have the correct FasTrak information number.
Officials could not say how many of the 950,000 FasTrak accounts currently in use have the wrong number on them.
