Albert Marcotte, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease, apparently drove away from his Diablo home in the 1800 block of Club House Road on Saturday at about 1:30 p.m., police said.
The California Highway Patrol found him on U.S. Highway 101 in Morgan Hill about 1:30 p.m. today, Contra Costa County sheriff's spokesman Jimmy Lee said.
Marcotte was taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition, Lee said.
