The most recent crime happened on Saturday, when the body of a 64-year-old man was wrapped in a rug and dumped on the sidewalk on the city's east side.
Five days earlier, a man was shot and killed at an AC Transit bus terminal in downtown Oakland.
And, on August 6, somebody killed a man who was riding on the back of a bike, shooting at a group of people.
