A major-injury crash blocked state Highway 116 in both directions for more than an hour Saturday in unincorporated Sonoma County near Forestville, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

The solo-vehicle crash was reported shortly after 11:10 a.m. on Highway 116 just east of Martinelli Road, according to the CHP.

At least one person suffered moderate to major injuries in the crash and was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, CHP Officer Mike Mines said.

The crash blocked the two-lane highway in both directions for about 80 minutes. The lanes were reopened shortly after 12:30 p.m., Mines said.
