Students at Franklin Elementary School in Burlingame are learning to understand people with disabilities by experiencing the world as they do.

In a video uploaded to ABC7 uReport powered by YouTube, students are given special glasses to see what it's like to have limited vision. They also learned what it is like to have limited dexterity by putting socks on their hands.

It's all part of ability awareness week sponsored by the Burlingame School District.
