"The car hit me dead on and then twirled around back to Melissa," Vileta said.
"I flew out of my shoes like my shoes were planted right where we got hit," Robles said.
The girls spent countless days in the hospital with head injuries, a lacerated liver, two crushed legs and multiple surgeries.
They are fine now and spend much time talking about Halloween safety to school groups and hand out glow in the dark bracelets and road signs.
