24-year-old dead after shooting in San Leandro

Police in San Leandro are questioning potential witnesses in an early morning shooting that killed one man.

Officers responded to a report of gunfire on East 14th Street, near Bancroft Avenue just before 3:30 Monday morning.

They found the victim, a 24-year-old San Leandro man, lying in the street. Investigators found a second victim a few blocks away, who had been with the first victim at the time of the shooting.

The second victim was not hurt, police say he had bullet hole through the hood of his sweatshirt. Police have no suspects and don't have a motive.
