The future of BART's general manager is uncertain; according to the Bay Area News Group, the BART Board of Directors had asked her to resign, but later reversed itself.

In a closed personnel session, several board members aired grievances about General Manager Dorothy Dugger's performance and voted to ask for her resignation.

But the board learned it was violating the state's open meeting law and had to rescind the vote.

A BART spokesperson says Dugger remains in her position as of Friday evening.
