Fallen utility wires cause outages, Muni disruptions

SAN FRANCISCO

About 150 to 200 feet of power lines came down near Judah Street and 22nd Avenue, and near Duboce Avenue and Fillmore Street, at about 5:55 p.m., Muni spokesman Paul Rose said.

No injuries were reported, but the N-Judah line stopped service near the fallen lines and did start running again until about 10:10 p.m., Rose said.

Up to 5,000 PG&E San Francisco lost power due to the downed lines, utility spokesman J.D. Guidi said.

Those customers had their power restored in the early morning hours, Guidi said.
