Investigators in Oakland are trying to determine the cause of a huge residential fire Sunday morning.

Flames shot high into the sky as an old boarded up Victorian burned at 32nd Street and Martin Luther King Way. The fire started around 2:30 a.m. and destroyed the three-story apartment building. Firefighters doused the flames about 45 minutes later.

No victims were found during a preliminary search of the building.
