Jesse Mattos, now a great grandfather, never thought he'd see it again, until he got a phone call he says he'll never forget. It was during that call he found out someone had found his Dunsmeir High School class ring. A city worker found it in a backed up sewer line - and the ring had Jesse's initials on it. After tracking down the 1939 yearbook, that worker found one of Jesse's classmates and was able to return the ring.
The great grandfather says he had to get the ring re-sized, but, he was happy to do it.
