Gates to allies: Help out more on Libya

Defense Secretary Robert Gates is challenging American allies to provide more help in the fight against Libya.

Gates delivered that pointed message in his last NATO meeting today.

The Defense Secretary singled out Germany, Poland, Spain, Turkey and the Netherlands, but none of those countries pledged to take on a greater share of the air campaign against Libyan leader Muammar Gadhafi.

The alliance is in its third month of airstrikes on Libya and there's currently no time frame for an end to that campaign.

Gates is expected to retire next month.
