Police and family members of missing nursing student Michelle Le say information related to reported calls made from her cell phone are false.

Those calls were first reported by a San Diego news outlet Wednesday evening. The organization cited "a source close to the case" who talked about out-of-state calls from Le's phone made after she disappeared from Hayward.

ABC7 News media partner, the Oakland Tribune, reports that Hayward police who interviewed people in Reno and Arizona say they have no evidence indicating someone got a call a call from Le.

She disappeared five weeks ago while on a break from class at Kaiser Hospital.
