Californians pay 11-percent than average for car repairs

Drivers in California pay about 11-percent more than the national average for car repairs.

That's 20-percent more for the labor and seven-percent more for parts, but drivers in four other states have it even worse. Arizona is one of the states that is even more expensive.

In the Western United States, car trouble caused by dry air and airborne dust is more expensive to repair, according to the study.
