J.C. Penney's pulls controversial girl's shirt

The shirt read: "I'm too pretty to do homework so my brother has to do it for me."

The shirt outraged online customers who felt it sent a sexist message to girls to value looks over brains. More than 1,500 people signed an online petition denouncing the shirt and pledging not to shop at J.C. Penney's.

Ironically the shirt comes from a brand called Self-Esteem, which specializes in sassy T-shirts targeted at young girls.
