Walmart launches initiatives to support women

The world's largest retailer will spend $20 billion over that time on goods and services from U.S. businesses by women. It also plans to double the amount it pays women-run suppliers overseas. Walmart plans to teach life skills, including punctuality and financial literacy to hundreds of thousands of women. The company says most of the $200 million people who shop at Walmart each week globally are female.
