A federal judge has decided to unseal the video recordings of last year's landmark trial on the constitutionality of California's same sex marriage ban.

Judge James Ware's decision supported the argument of those opposed to the ban, saying there was no reason to keep the recordings secret.

Supporters of California's same sex marriage ban had fought hard to keep the tapes from being released. Judge Ware did delay today's ruling until September 30 to give the ban's supporters time to appeal.
