Mock SF high schools election chooses Lee

San Franciscans too young to actually vote revealed who they would vote for in the mayoral election.

The students chose Mayor Ed Lee, although Supervisor John Avalos was a close second. Over 8,500 high school students voted in the simulated election.

While the teens passed a school bond measure. They rejected a sales tax increase to benefit youth programs and another measure that would assign students to their closest school.
