Stanford boasts record number of Rhodes Scholars

Stanford University can now brag about a record five students, among the 32 Americans selected as Rhodes Scholars.

The five students selected for the prestigious award will receive full scholarships for up to three years of study at the Oxford Universityin England.

Ishan Nath, Tenzin Seldon, Aysha Bagchi, Anand Habib, and Katherine Niehaus represent the biggest group Stanford has ever had in a single year. Also, no other school in the nation had more this year.

Past Rhodes winners include former President Bill Clinton and California Supreme Court Justice Goodwin Liu.
