Seven injured after building fire in SF

SAN FRANCISCO

The fire broke out around 5:20 p.m. at an apartment unit along the 300 block of Ellis Street in San Francisco. As many as eight ambulances were dispatched to the scene.

Seven people were sent to area hospitals and around 200 people were displaced by the fire, the San Francisco Fire Department says.

The cause of the fire is unknown. San Francisco Fire Department arson investigators are attempting to determine the cause.
