Seatbelts have been installed on UCSF shuttles

People who ride UCSF shuttles will notice something new from now on. Seatbelts have been installed on the shuttles along with safety signs and hotline numbers to report dangerous driving.

These changes come in the wake of a July crash in which a 52-year-old UCSF psychiatrist was thrown from the vehicle and killed. Currently, California law does not require shuttle buses to provide seatbelts.
