SFPD to hold meeting over officer-involved shooting

SAN FRANCISCO

The shooting happened last week near the intersection of Larkin and Fern streets. Investigators say it began after a man took off during a traffic stop as police chased him he fired at least two shots. The officers returned fire, killing him.

Today's meeting will include San Francisco's police chief. It's scheduled for 4 p.m. in the community room at the Northern Police Station.
