The department plans to distribute toys to needy families in the community on Saturday morning.
New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the Police Department, located at 141 Demeter St., through Friday.
The Police Department is also accepting monetary donations. Checks can be made out to "The East Palo Alto PD POA."
