Twitter helps woman find lost engagement ring

BOSTON

Katelyn Peckham rides a commuter train to her job in Boston every day. One morning, she took her ring off to clean her hands, put it down, and then got off the train.

When she got work, Peckham realized the ring was gone, and broke down in tears.

Her co-workers tweeted immediately: "One of our employees lost her engagement ring on the Reading commuter rail. Please retweet and help us spread the word."

Other commuters alerted railroad workers. Conductor Tom Booth spotted the ring while walking through his train. He calls the discovery the most exciting thing that's happened in the time he's been working on the railroad.
