Researchers think they found cancer pancreatic gene

Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest cancers. Fewer than 5 percent of patients live for five years after being diagnosed with the disease. It also tends to run in families.

About 10 percent of patients come from families with multiple cases of pancreatic cancer.

The study is in the Journal "Cancer Discovery."
