Police say the pair attempted to kick in the door of the Santa Cruz Memorial Park Crematorium on Monday. They apparently thought the body of a recently deceased friend was inside.
So far, the men have declined to tell police exactly what they planned to do with the body.
One man was arrested for attempted burglary, the other for public intoxication.
They never did gain entry into the crematorium.
