Coke will adjust ingredient to avoid cancer warning

Coca-Cola has announced it will alter the caramel color used in its sodas.

Coke is dropping the additive known as 4-MI which California recently added to its list of carcinogens after studies on animals - no adverse effects have been found in humans. Dropping the ingredient allows Coke to avoid having to put the cancer warning label on its sodas. The company says its coloring recipe has always been safe.
