It appears a Netflix deal with major cable services are a no-go. Netflix was reportedly talking to cable operators about adding Netflix in an on-demand format, but on Monday, media reports say distributors don't seem to be biting.
Many cable providers already have on-demand channels, and some view Netflix as competition.
Apparently Comcast, DirecTV and Dish have all declined a there's speculation a deal isn't even possible to begin with because of the agreements Netflix has already signed with its distributors.
