Some of those students returned to Ocean Shore Elementary and Ortega Elementary this morning. Others are still at home recovering. The outbreak began on May 8 when students started complaining of stomach cramps and other flu-like symptoms. The health department directed school officials to thoroughly disinfect facilities to rid all surfaces of the virus.
