Siddharth Kulkarni correctly spelled "theomachy." He's an 8th grader at Chaboya Middle School in San Jose.
Nick Lambert, an 8th grader at Pleasant Hill Middle School, correctly spelled "altazimuth" to stay in the competition.
And, as for the youngest ever competitor, 6-year-old Lori Anne Madison of Virginia spelled "dirigible" and if she spells one more word correctly, she'll also advance to Thursday's semi-finals.
