Coroner's report shows teen never shot at police

OAKLAND, Calif.

On Thursday, Blueford's family accused the police department of covering up the shooting. After two months of waiting, they were finally able to get a copy of the coroner's report. It shows there was no gunshot residue on Blueford's hands. The teenager was shot three times, twice in the chest and once in the arm.

"I do deserve as his mother, to know what has happened to my child," Jeralynn Blueford said.

"They are obviously playing a game here. They want this issue to go away," said family attorney Dan Siegel.

A spokesperson for Oakland Police told ABC7 News Thursday that a police report won't be released until three independent investigations on the shooting are concluded.
