They say the man was the last person seen with Eriq Escalon. The 28-year-old victim was found murdered in his apartment on Diamond Heights Boulevard nearly two months ago.
Police say Escalon had been bound and gagged. He was last seen getting into a taxicab with the suspect in front of a Castro Street bar at 1:30 a.m. on June 12.
