East Bay activists are regrouping today after being kicked out Monday night from an abandoned Oakland library they were occupying.

The group had taken over the building Monday morning and began creating a community library there, but police removed them last night.

Activists gathered outside the closed-off lot and began setting up a mobile library and a raised garden on the sidewalk Tuesday morning.

A spokesperson for the group told ABC7 News that they want to gather community support before they decide whether or not to re-enter the property.
