All clear given after SF bomb squad investigation

Suspicious items were reported inside an apartment building in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood in the 600 block of Jones Street.

After conducting a preliminary investigation, officers determined the items were possibly hazardous and called the bomb squad. The bomb squad determined that the 12-15 pipe sections were harmless and gave the all clear.

The building was evacuated as a precaution and approximately 75 residents of the building were affected.
