Purchase charge delays affects pizza customers

PETALUMA, Calif.

It happened to customers at the Little Caesars Pizza restaurants in Rohnert Park and Petaluma. A bank glitch resulted in major delays in getting the debit card charges through. Some were delayed as long as nine months. And nine months of pizza purchases can add up.

The Press Democrat reports that at least one customer suddenly found $300 withdrawn from his account.

The restaurant owner says he instructed his managers to give customers apology letters and to ask for understanding.
