Pedro is the owner of M1 Real Estate (originally Marin 1 Real Estate) who was recently named the Latino Businessman of the Year by the Marin County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. A native of the Dominican Republic, he immigrated to New York where he became a legal resident two years after arriving in the United States. In 1982, Pedro earned his real estate license and by the end of the year, he was the top producer in a company of 280 agents and was later on named Rookie of the Year. Within a few years, he was one of the top agents in Marin County and in the top one percent nationwide.

Mr. Reyes and his son, Joe, opened their own independent company called M1 Real Estate in 2001 and now has 25 employees and agents and its own in-house mortgage company. In 2011, Pedro opened a new office in Napa and he plans to open another office in Vallejo in the upcoming year.

Pedro is currently a director of the Latino Education Community Foundation, a local organization founded by Victoria Vieira. The foundation raises funds to pay for books and tuition for disadvantaged Latino youth to help them make the transition from high school to college. To this day, the foundation has sent over 200 students from Marin County on to college.
