STONY BROOK, N.Y.

Stony Brook University researchers analyzed Gallup poll data from 340,000 men and women collected over a year, and found people complained equally every day of the week, except for Friday and Saturday. They also found that Tuesdays at 11:45 in the morning may be when bad moods peak.

Meantime, Vermont University team checked some two million tweets and found the most negative words were used on Wednesdays.
