Protests at opening of Chick-fil-A in Walnut Creek

Right now, protesters are demonstrating at the grand opening of a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Walnut Creek.

The group says it's against the company's donations towards anti-gay organizations and for the very public anti-gay stance the founder of Chick-fil-A took this summer. But the number of gay rights activists are outnumbering the small group. This morning, the demonstration didn't stop dozens of chicken lovers who camped out overnight. The first 100 people got coupons, good for 52 free meals.
