The streaks could be seen from San Francisco to Martinez, running across the sky, crisscrossing and making unusual patterns.
They're actually contrails of the same airplanes that fly overhead every day. They usually disappear soon, but the combination of cool air and moisture made them last longer, enough to form patterns.
