Prop 8 was passed by voters in 2008 but was deemed unconstitutional by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in February.
The Supreme Court also did not take action on a case related to the Defense of Marriage Act.
The next opportunity for the Court to issue orders will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday, according to the SCOTUS Blog.
