Mudslide forces seven train cars to derail

There was an amazing scene north of Seattle Monday. Days of rain forced a hillside to give way, sending a wall of mud into a freight train, derailing seven cars. Amazingly, no one was hurt.

The cars were carrying various types of freight including disinfectant and chemicals used in cleaning supplies and fertilizer. There was no threat to public health.

The tracks are expected to remain closed for freight and passengers trains into Wednesday. This was just the latest in a series of recent mudslides on this section of track.
