Researchers at Cincinnati Children's Hospital studied girls ages 14 to 17. They found 30 percent met in person at least one individual whom they first met online. And at least 20 percent reported some online sexual solicitation.
About half the girls in this study were victims of abuse or neglect. Researchers say that group is more prone to higher risk Internet behaviors.
