A new suggestion calls for banishing buses on the downtown section of Mission and redesigning it to make the street safer and easier for cyclists.
The plan is the latest of three proposals for the city's $350 million "Better Market Street" project aimed at remaking the city's main boulevard into a designated transit and pedestrian-friendly corridor.
