The Half Moon Bay Brewing Company has even dedicated a new beer called Tunnel Vision Ale to the bypass.
The beer has 6.66% alcohol in honor of Devil's Slide.
The brewery's owners, who were early proponents of the project, already have the new beer on tap at the bar.
Businesses expect a tourism boom because of the easier access to the coast.
