Powerball winners give cut to coworker who opted out

However, one woman said she was watching her money and couldn't afford to pitch in. Then, the office workers who pitched in $20 each for the lottery pool, did the extraordinary and shared their winnings with her.

"We all felt very bad, since we are an incredible loving team and we do great things in the community. We all chipped in money so that she would be part of our pool," lottery winner Saria Finkelstein said.

All of the coworkers split the money 12 ways, which was equal to $83,000 thousand each.

The team won't disclose how much they're giving to their coworker, but say they put together a huge pile of money for her.
