The 91st anniversary of the early-morning tradition attracts residents from the Bay Area and from around the state.
"I think a wonderful time of worship with everyone coming together with the other churches and to celebrate Jesus Christ risen. And, it's amazing. I'm really grateful to be here," said Linda Lee Findsen of San Mateo.
"Coming here is going to be a great experience because we're close to nature, plus the big lighted cross, and the service that's happening here," said Danny Bernardo of San Diego.
