Crews responded to a report of a distressed hiker at Linda Mar Beach around 5:25 p.m., fire officials said.
When crews arrived, they found a hiker 15 feet down the side of a cliff at the south end of the beach, officials said.
The hiker was saved quickly with high tide looming, officials said.
Crews treated the hiker at the scene for injuries not considered life-threatening.
