The fire destroyed the Silk Day Spa and Salon on Sharon Drive, near South De Anza Boulevard. Crews responded around 2 a.m., but were unable to save the building before the roof collapsed. The fire threatened a nearby daycare center, but firefighters managed to save it.
Investigators believe the building might have been under renovation because there was a large dumpster in front of the building.
